Evidence-Based Counselling

Our team works with individuals with chronic and acute mental health needs such as depression, anxiety, crisis and suicidal ideations.  We use integrative counselling techniques using either one evidence-based modality such as CBT, DBT, Unified Protocol, Solution Focused and Positive Psychology or a combination of these methods depending on the individual issues and preferences. 

Staff Credentials

Hanada is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and has an Honors Degree in Kinesiology, a Bachelor of Education and Master of Education from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Arts in Counselling and Psychology.  Hanada brings over 20 years of experience working with adolescents, young adults and families to overcome difficulties and challenges in their lives.

Al Gord was a teacher, vice principal and principal for one of the largest public school boards in Ontario, prior to transitioning into the role of ADHD Coach. With over two decades of experience working with neurodiverse adolescents and their parents, Al is deeply committed to encouraging and supporting personal development. Al only uses evidence-based academic processes and methods.
